Party in the Park

Pyrmont Youth working in conjunction with the Maybanke Youth Centre successfully hosted their third annual Party in the Park in Pirrama Park on Saturday 19 January.

The idea of a Party in the Park was first conceived and implemented by the local youth to demonstrate the abilities of local youth to develop an idea, organise their resources and put on a major event that would appeal to adults as well the younger people in the community.

Party in the Park featured a jumping castle, children’s games, and a free sausage sizzle staffed by the Pyrmont Community Bank® Branch of Bendigo Bank. But the main attraction was the entertainment provided by the youth themselves, which ensures that Party in the Park is becoming an event to showcase the talent of the local youth.
