This masterclass brings together experts and practitioners on the art and science of Pivotability.

Think|Act|Change is proud to present a free panel discussion and short talks on the first day of Pivot on Purpose, Tuesday July 28.

This event features three short talks and a panel discussion exploring how entrepreneurs adapted to COVID, what they see coming next and the mindsets of Pivotability.

You’ll hear inspiring stories of adaption and survival, ideas about the future of food, fashion, enterprise and the Black Lives Matters movement and examples of how we can all build a mindset and toolkit for Pivotability!

Tom Dawkins, Co-founder and CEO, StartSomeGood

Co-Founder and CEO of social impact crowdfunding platform and innovation agency StartSomeGood. Tom is a leading speaker on and advocate for social entrepreneurship and enterprise. StartSomeGood works with partners to inspire, unearth, skill-up and launch innovative social impact projects. Tom previously founded non-profit organisation Vibewire, opened the first co-working space in Australia and was Director of the Australian Changemakers Festival.

Luke Pearson, Founder and CEO, IndigenousX

Luke Pearson is a Gamilaroi man, who founded IndigenousX in 2012. Luke has worked as a teacher, mentor, counsellor, public speaker, collaborator, mediator, facilitator, events manager, researcher, evaluator, reporter and much more. Luke’s passion for IndigenousX stems from his belief in the need to improve Indigenous media representation in Australia and to have a platform for individuals to tell their own stories in their own words.

Bec Scott, Co-founder and CEO, strEAT

Co-founder and CEO of STREAT, a Melbourne-based social enterprise that works with marginalised young people aged 16-24 years and provides them with a healthy self, job and home. STREAT run a portfolio of 11 foodservice businesses, including cafes, an artisan bakery, a catering company, and a coffee roastery. To date, STREAT has worked with over 2,200 young people who have helped serve over 3 million customers.
